CB Reps Terms and Conditions of Sale

I want to ensure that your experience of buying an animal from me is both simple and straightforward. In order to avoid any potential confusion, please take the time to read through and understand my terms and conditions of sale below. All sales are subject to these terms and conditions unless specifically agreed otherwise in advance.

All animals offered for sale on www.cbreps.co.uk are honestly described, healthy and feeding normally at the time of offering and they are sexed and weighed before being made available. As a result, I can offer the following guarantees:

Sex. All animals offered for sale will be of the sex described. Should any animal subsequently prove to have been incorrectly sexed by me prior to collection/delivery, I reserve the right to withdraw it from sale and refund any monies paid. All animals will be re-sexed at the time of collection/delivery but in the extremely unlikely event that the animal still proves to have been incorrectly sexed by me, you must notify me by email at chris@cbreps.co.uk within 7 days of collection/delivery. It must then be returned to me at your cost and if a mistake has been made, I reserve the right to offer a full refund of the purchase price including any receipted courier costs, replace the animal with one of the required sex or offer a credit towards another animal at my discretion. If no mistake has been made, all costs of returning the animal back to you will be met by you.

Weight. All animals offered for sale will be feeding normally on the prey items advised at the time of sale. Should any animal subsequently prove not to be feeding normally prior to collection/delivery, I reserve the right to withdraw it from sale and refund any monies paid. As an animal’s weight can vary by as much as +/- 10% depending on whether it has just fed or defecated, I guarantee that it will weigh at least its advertised weight +/- 10%, on collection/delivery. In many cases, the animal will weigh more than its advertised weight on collection/delivery and this fact will be used to indicate that it is feeding normally at the time of sale.

Health. All animals offered for sale will be 100% healthy at the time of sale. Should any animal subsequently prove not to be 100% healthy prior to collection/delivery, I reserve the right to withdraw it from sale and refund any monies paid. Should the animal prove not to be 100% healthy within 7 days of collection/delivery, you must notify me immediately by email at chris@cbreps.co.uk. It must then be returned to me at your cost and it proves not to be 100% healthy, I reserve the right to offer a full refund of the purchase price including any receipted courier costs, replace the animal with an equivalent animal that is 100% healthy or offer a credit towards another animal at my discretion. Please note that an animal’s health can deteriorate rapidly if it is not kept in a suitable environment and as I cannot control the environment it is kept in once collection/delivery has taken place, I am unfortunately unable to offer any health guarantee beyond 7 days after collection/delivery. However, I am happy to offer health advice and guidance based upon my 20 years of experience of keeping and breeding reptiles, to anyone who has purchased an animal from me for the life of that animal.

Payment. Payment is required in full cleared funds before any animal is released for collection/delivery. Payment can be made by cash, personal cheque, bank deposit, bank transfer and PayPal (by prior agreement). Unfortunately, I do not have the facility to receive payment by credit or debit cards however, as PayPal do accept credit and debit cards, please contact me at chris@cbreps.co.uk to discuss this process further.

Payment Plans. Payment plans may be made available on animals costing over £250 by prior agreement. My normal terms are a deposit of 1/3 of the purchase price paid by the methods described under “Payment” above followed by 2 further payments of 1/3 of the purchase price paid by the same method at 30 day intervals. In certain circumstances, payment plans at different levels and frequencies to that described above may be agreed and any animal subject to a payment plan will continue to be fed and maintained at no extra charge. Deposits. All deposits and payment plan payments are non-refundable unless I withdraw the animal reserved from sale as detailed under “Sex”, “Weight” and “Health” above.
