Welcome to CB Reps.
I have been keeping and breeding reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates since 1992 so I thought it about time that I mix my career in IT with my passion of reptiles, hence the development of this web site. Over the coming months I will be adding a lot more content to the site including details of how I keep and breed my reptiles in a variety of rack mounted enclosures - CB Racks, how I rear various rodents for food - CB Rodents and my online store for specialist reptile keeping equipment and accessories - Rep Stuff.
Having started my reptile collection with a baby Boa Constrictor, I quickly became fascinated by a range of exotic pets that has included many of the most commonly kept snakes, lizards, chelonia and invertebrates available in the UK over the last 18 years. My experience has included a wide range of species including Boas, Pythons, King Snakes, Milk Snakes, Rat Snakes, Corn Snakes, Garter Snakes, Hognoses, Geckos, Iguanas, Euromastyx, Tortoises, Spiders, Scorpions and Mantids, most of which I have bred.
My current collection is mostly based around Royal Pythons, both wild type and the many colour mutations available. However, as my interest in reptiles is quite wide ranging, I also keep a number of other species including Macklot's Pythons, Spotted Pythons, Childrens' Pythons, Boa Constrictors, Corn Snakes and Leopard Geckos. Whilst I don't claim to be a complete expert in the husbandry and reproduction of any of these species, my extensive experience has taught me many lessons that I'm happy to share with other reptile keepers.
I am based halfway between Southampton and Portsmouth in Hampshire, Southern England which makes travelling to some of the shows I attend quite challenging but there are many other local benefits like being 15 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from the New Forest, one of the best natural reptile environments in the UK.
